Comfort and zero energy in Polands e4 house

In the summer of 2017, the first e4 houses are being completed in the village of Cisie near Warsaw.

Wienerberger Poland has developed a local implementation of the e4 concept that combines extremely low energy consumption (almost zero-energy) with high living comfort. The seven houses that are being built in Cisie near Warsaw, with the first 4 of them being ready for their new owners this summer.

For this project, Wienerberger Poland has joint forces with a number of strong partners and leaders in their industry: Viessmann and FAKRO. Viessmann are an international manufacturer of heating systems. FAKRO is a Poland based producer of roof windows with international outlook. Both partners are offering high-quality products while aiming to meet constantly rising demands in energy efficiency and sustainability.

Outstanding esthetics

The rooms can be easily changed and adapted to the size and needs of the new owners.

The design was developed by renowned Warsaw-based studio Mąka-Sojka Architekci. The  rooms can be easily changed and adapted to the size and needs of the new owners.

"The e4 house meets all the typical criteria of energy-saving homes, but its esthetics stand out among other available projects, countering common misconceptions about the esthetic values of these houses. Our challenge was to effectively combine innovative solutions with quality architecture and good functionality. We were pleasantly surprised by the results” says Maciej Mąka, co-founder of Mąka-Sojka Architekci.

  • Electricity: highly efficient 4kW Viessmann Vitovolt 300 photovoltaic modules
  • Heat: application-controlled compact heat pump
  • Windows: FAKRO high quality windows, meeting the WT2021 standard
